At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic and quarantine, I picked up a digital camera and started learning photography. In doing this, I wanted to pick a new skill that would help me connect with the natural world around me at a time when so many of us were isolated.
As pandemic restrictions lessened and people have been gathering out into the world again, I have continued to use my photography skills for work and play, documenting my environment and telling stories of people and place.
What began as something I wanted to learn for my work has now transformed how I engage with the world around me.
